Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and OrbitCP ("OrbitCP", "we", "us"). They cover the OrbitCP control panel software, the website orbitcp.pro, the customer portal my.orbitcp.pro, licenses, AI credits and support (together, "OrbitCP"). By installing the software, creating an account or buying a license, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use OrbitCP for a company, you confirm you may agree for it, and "you" includes the company.

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or buy a license.

Your account

Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done with your account and your license keys. Tell us right away at support@orbitcp.pro if you think someone else is using them.

Using the software

OrbitCP owns the software, including all copies, updates and the OrbitCP name and logo. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the software to run servers, for yourself or for your own customers, for as long as you follow these terms. You may not:

• sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the software, or offer it to others as your own product;
• remove, bypass or tamper with the license check or the plan limits, or share license keys or tokens;
• reverse engineer or decompile the software, except where the law allows it regardless of this term;
• remove OrbitCP's copyright notices.

Hosting websites for your own customers with OrbitCP's client accounts is allowed and is what those features are for.

Parts of OrbitCP use open-source software, which stays under its own licenses.

Plans and licenses

• Free has no license key and no time limit.
• Pro and Premium are sold yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Each license key can be active on one server at a time unless your order says otherwise. You can free a server in the portal and activate the key on another one.
• Lifetime means the license stays valid, with updates, for as long as OrbitCP is offered as a product. It is not tied to a person's lifetime or a server's.
• Trial: new installs get Premium features for 14 days. When the trial ends, the server moves to the free plan unless a license is added.
• The panel confirms the license with our license server about twice a day. If it can't reach us, paid features keep working for 14 days.
• When a license expires or ends, your websites, apps, databases and client accounts keep running and nothing is deleted. Features from the paid plan stop accepting new changes until you renew.

The features in each plan are listed on the pricing page. We may add features to a plan; we won't take away a main feature from a license you already paid for during its current term.

Payments and refunds

Prices are shown in US dollars and Pakistani rupees. For bank transfer, JazzCash or EasyPaisa, place the order in the portal, pay the amount shown and send us the transaction reference. Your license or credits are issued once we confirm the payment, usually within one business day. You pay any bank or wallet fees and any taxes that apply to your purchase.

Yearly licenses don't renew by themselves; you renew by placing a new order, and renewing early adds the new year to the end of the current one.

Refunds: if a license doesn't work on a supported server and we can't fix the problem, ask within 14 days of the payment and we will refund it in full. Apart from that, payments are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise. AI credits that have been used are never refundable.

AI credits

• AI credits pay for the AI assistant when you don't use your own AI provider key. One credit is worth one US cent of AI usage, and the panel shows the cost of each request.
• Credits you buy and the monthly credits included with Premium are added to your account balance and don't expire while your account is open.
• Credits can't be exchanged for money, transferred to another account or resold.
• We may change credit rates when our AI provider's prices change. New rates apply only to requests made after the change.

The AI assistant

The assistant suggests explanations and fixes based on what it reads from your server. Its answers can be incomplete or wrong. It only makes a change after you press Approve, and you are responsible for the commands and changes you approve. Read the exact command first, and keep backups before changes that matter.

If you use your own AI provider key, that provider's terms also apply to you.

Your server and your data

You choose and pay for your server, and you control it. You are responsible for its security, keeping backups (OrbitCP includes backup tools, but they only help if you use them and keep copies off the server), the data on it, and any agreements with customers you host on it. We don't have access to your server and can't recover data from it.

Acceptable use

Don't use OrbitCP, or let your customers use it, to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright;
• host or send malware, phishing pages, spam or content that sexually exploits children;
• attack, scan or overload other people's systems without permission;
• abuse or try to break into our portal, license service or AI service, or use the AI service in ways our AI provider's usage policies forbid.

We may suspend licenses, credits or accounts used this way.

Updates and support

Active licenses get software updates. Support is by email at support@orbitcp.pro; Premium requests are answered first. Support covers OrbitCP itself on the supported operating systems listed on our website, not your own code, websites or third-party software.

We may change, add or retire features over time. If we ever stop offering OrbitCP, already-installed panels keep running, and we will give at least 90 days' notice.

No warranty

Apart from the refund promise above, OrbitCP is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no other promises, including that it will be free of errors, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, OrbitCP is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data, lost business or downtime, even if we were told they might happen. Our total liability for any claim about OrbitCP is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending this agreement

You can stop using OrbitCP at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end your account or licenses if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you time to fix the problem. If we end a paid license without you having broken these terms, we will refund the unused part.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Before going to court, please email us so we can try to solve the problem together. Any dispute that isn't solved this way goes to the courts of Pakistan, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we will email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use OrbitCP after that means you accept the new terms.
